Just a Break From Real Life

I close my eyes
My soul is at peace
It's relaxing here in my mind
The perfect retreat
I can shut out the world
If just for a while
Can forget all the chaos
Trouble and strife
I think of the old times
When life was carefree
I'm at home with my mother
I'm wrapped in her hugs
Next I'm out playing
With my dearest best friend
We're talking and laughing
In a land with no time
Hey look there's that cute guy
You once bashfully kissed
Skip forward a breath or two
I'm in my high school classroom
The teacher is teaching
Some subject I must have missed
Go a little closer to the front of my mind
Now I am standing in the courthouse
My hair is in curls
My dress is long and white
Promising forever to the man holding my hand
In just a few minutes my daughters will be born
It seems like forever it took them to arrive
Now I open my eyes, time to wake up
To this beautiful existence
I call it my life...

You must also be left handed. Always in your own mind. I like it. Keep the breeze going
