Notes About The Poem

Jupiter Solaris

Written: May 12, 2024 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Setting resolve, crashing,  onto desolate shores glittering with rubies In the depths of those eyes, a gentle flicker-waltz with a captivating voice,  drawing me in as a pulling force- love by the shore amidst water embrace,  Poseidon and Minerva gently converge a trio of raindrops twirled around, completing me as I breathe in, I ponder...  myriad reasons why. Stay tethered, and  hold an eye on me all night your voice is a gentle breeze whispering sweetly to my soul, In its melodic embrace I find solace and feel whole Oh, Jupiter Tonans, madness prevails a touch of sobriety as we age an untamed love ignites my soul.

"your voice is a gentle breeze whispering sweetly to my soul, In its melodic embrace I find solace and feel whole" How thoughts about a loved one are comforting and reviving. The love of Poseidon and Minerva stands as a parallel here to the love felt between the lovers here. This poem sends out a comforting breeze of love and romance, reviving the soul and emotions. "Untamed love' is a powerful usage. Wonderful poem in sweet tone and lovely diction.

SP, this tells me you think it's great to be alive and to feel the magic of love. It's a wonderful piece. I'm reading it outside on my patio this afternoon in beautiful sunlight and feeling a huge inner smile from your words. We might as well enjoy every day while we can!!!!!

Dear Sotto, Your poem is echoing the tumultuous yet tender dance of life's waves crashing upon desolate shores. Just like Poseidon and Minerva converging, your words created for me a menagerie of emotions, completing the soul's wanting connection. I loved how in all your verses, I find peace, feeling tethered to a universal longing for love's sweet madness and the sobering touch of reality. Sotto, this is an exquisite reflection of the human experience. - Blessings, my friend, Daniel
