Jungvögel (German)/Young Birds (English)/Joven Pájaros (Spanish)

Aus dem Nest im Baum Hungriger Ruf der Jungvögel Versteckt im Geäst Ruf aus der Einsamkeit vom Wald Der alte Hirsch auf der Lichtung --------------------------------------- From the nest in the tree Hungry cries of young birds Hidden in the branches A call from a solitude forest The old deer in the clearing -------------------------------------- De un nido en el árbol Llorar de hambre de aves jóvenes Escondido en el ramaje Un grito de la soledad del bosque El vejo ciervo en el claro

Thankxxx for your wonderful comments and for always reading my poetry as I post them for the contests... which offer me much inspiration.. I found an English to Italian Dictionary online so I might compose a poem in Italian from the translations ..working on it..luv.. Linda-Marie...

What a sweet image of the birds crying from their nest as the deer grazes in the lcearing, Gert. You sure capture nature's special moments well in your poetry. Read the German and Spanish versions first, but couldn't translate them. Some of your poems are easier to translate, but I always read all three versions to enhance my interpretation skills. Thank you for the learning experience as well as the lovely portrait of the forest. Love, Carolyn

it's a Thai soup dish that's made with prawns, fish, and other seafood & it has lime, lemon grass, chillies and tom yum paste and a splash of coconut milk--a hot and sour soup that's really nourishing too :) oops sorry this is such a long comment ;) enjoy your day!

This is such a peaceful write, Gert :) & wow, that's pretty great to be just a walking distance away from Poland & the Czech Republic! I have yet to visit Germany, but my dad's been there, and has a wonderful recollection of his visit to Anuga--have you been to that food trade show? As for tom yum soup--I'm more familiar with the modern version (which I found out is tom kha, since this is the one with coconut milk)
