sweetish juneberries     
grow where wildness softly weaves  
awake summer scents,       
hidden treasure amidst leaves                   
wholesome bounty of nature.

Thank you my friend for visiting my page. In fact, juneberries known by different names across North America, are sweet when ripe. They can be eaten fresh or in bakeries. This fruit, rather small in size, is wholesome, an excellent source of "iron, vitamins A and E and high levels of protein, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and antioxidants " according to a reliable source. ...

Beautiful tanka. "hidden treasure amidst leaves". Love that line These berries are so small that they are not easily visible, except when ripe . .All the Best dear Krish
