~ sequence of haiku ~

late arrival
everyone asleep
quiet as can be

fat june bugs flutter
in the dark of night
all too excited

ignoring this swarm
of june bugs
we put up our tent

one of us filling
his pockets
for tomorrow’s bait

clear skies and waters
when sun rises
fishing lines are cast

As the wife of a fisherman, this is an all together familiar scene! Nicely written Line. Love haiku strings! Congratulations. Blessings.
