Judgment Day

My soul embarks,
That eternal journey ahead
How did this occur?
Why is that light so vibrant?
My mind flies in all directions
It appears that I now sleep,
My bodily life disbanded,
I compress my eyelids together
This is the unknown
‘Suicide, it was inevitable’
I hear in a mellifluous tone,
My eyes start to bleed,
Crimson tears of spent life
My knowledge,
Proceeds to cut into me
The razor,
Pressed to my veins,
Seemingly relentless pain-
Then nothing
The crimson tears continued to spill,
Down my impure face
How could I see this vibrant light-
If I became an inevitable statistic?
Then I hear the pleasant tone,
One so pure it could only come,
From God himself,
‘Such an affliction- you could not overcome’
He articulates,
Rapidly, the crimson tears leak,
I know this is it,
This is judgment day.
