Notes About The Poem

A children's bedtime song I wrote one night while picking around on my guitar.

Judgement Day

You can't get to Heaven with the Man In The Moon
You can't get to Heaven on a flying spoon
You can't get to Heaven on a roller skate
You can only get to Heaven through the Pearly Gates

You might see the Devil in your daddy's barn
You might see the Devil in a ball of yarn
You might see the Devil if you stay up late
You might see him hanging 'round the Pearly Gates

The Angels said "Children don't you run away
"We just stopped by to watch you play
"So pick up your toys and you can stay
"We'll see you again on Judgement Day"

Good job Don! This write up is inspiring. Simple write up with deep meaning and light rhythm. To whoever will read this write up, don't let anyone or anything to distract you from the narrow way that leads to HEAVEN. Good once again Don. ??
