Notes About The Poem

Jubilant Uplift

I smiled when God assured my soul He redeemed me from sin’s wages midst triumphant heavenly goal for eternal* life’s great surges. With joy-filled salvation divine I share Gospel of Christ’s love sign Declaring His compassion gift… Oh, sublime jubilant uplift. From sin’s wages, God assured me when He redeemed my soul I smiled for heavenly eternal goal midst life’s great surges triumphant. Blest to enjoy the Lord’s goodness I live for Him with faithfulness.
*Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. September 21, 2020 3rd place, "Charonnet" Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by Charles Messina; judged on 10/13/2020.
