Jubilant Days

Can you, O Lord, Dim the sun a bit and brighten the moon some? Can you mix wine in the seas a bit and add to the winds fragrance some? Can you splash colors on the grim clouds a bit and add music to the rainfall some? Can you sling a swing over the rainbow a bit and toss confetti with the snow some? Then with jubilant joy I’ll welcome my life ahead and greet New Year with smiles some. Until, O Lord, you bid me joy Allow one world we all can enjoy, Love to savor and love to share with those who have woe alone to bear, Merriment wrapping each sorrowful face In this one thing I but blame your grace, None but me shall nurse the rancor and pin the blame on thee with anger. ~12/31/18 ~Jubilant Joy contest Sponsor: Chantelle Anne Cooke
