Joyful Dare Valley Lake, Aberdare, Wales

The clouds an oil painting sponge, Non forgiving rain falls from the sky. Raging streams turn into angry rivers: Shhhhhhhing through the forest scrub. While the quiet ones just trickle by. Swollen lake, it's just the beginning! Inviting the single drops to the ground, The cheering water jumps up from the lake, Joyful to be added to the swell, The sky conducting an orchestrated waltz, While the water sways side to side, Patiently waiting to roll on to its final destination: A journey to the sea, of our unique Welsh nation.
