Joy and Sorrow
I've experienced much joy and sorrow,
I've been through the valley and mountaintop.
But you, my love, brightened my tomorrow,
I've seen good and bad; I wanted life to stop.
My life was like yin and yang, confusion,
The one thing in my life that wasn't was you.
I thought love was just a mere illusion,
What you've given me is honest and true.
Chaos surrounded me; now, in pure bliss,
I have seen much darkness and little light.
But sweetheart, I hunger for your sweet kiss,
In your loving arms, I welcome the night.
I never tire of your loving embrace,
I’ll spend forever gazing at your face.
