Journeys

Some journeys are worth
the cost –

some are not...

and we do pay, one
way or another; even those taken
by mind alone have an Electrical
Transit-fee – the price of a meal’s
stored energy –

       also, time, when foolishly
wasted, equates to wealth squandered
(time is money, I’ve been told)

but, the greatest loss, a chance to
increase one’s capacity for love –
which, I sense, is the only resource,
of any value, that would have
merit
beyond
the grave…

- (time is money, yes I have heard it) ... go 50/60 years back in time ... people did not have much money ... but they had time for each other ... and time for love .. our journey in life is worth nothing ... without love, Joe - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
