Notes About The Poem

Journey Without Movement

In an attempt to capture love's essence, heart flits about from desire to desire; bemused thus, veils its self-luminescence, wandering in darkness, till it does tire. The eternal joy we seek is within but strangely our attention looks outward, enslaved by senses, indulging in sin, instinct driven, behaviour untoward. To exit this game, let's dwell in silence, simply abiding in our innate state, aligned with bliss beats, sans thought violence, suffused with rapture, that does not abate. Rest weary soul, in quiet contentment ~ Embark on this journey without movement 27-January-2023

What a wonderful image Seeker - the tired heart that looks in all the wrong places for wholeness and unity with love! This is a beautiful sonnet. I love your choice of poetic forms as the sonnet is so often associated with poems of love and romance. Congratulations on your win! Blessings.
