Journey Around the Sun
‘Hold on tight’ said, Captain Earth 'We are about to embark on a journey'
'How long will it take to go around the Sun?' asked an insignificant somebody'
'Only three hundred and sixty-five days, my Son. We always arrive on schedule'
'Oh my word; that’s awfully long! How shall we stay engaged, for three hundred and sixty-five days? Man!'
'You will do fine, oh negative one. It really is quite simple: Just live your life, wake, eat, sleep and laugh. Earn some pay along the way, maybe even fall in love. Come summertime you’ll take a trip to a tropical paradise. You’ll spend two week on a golden beach, drinking colourful cocktails and getting a tan. At the end you'll celebrate with candles and a cake, and maybe even a party. Then like a bloody merry-go-round we'll all go around again.'
