Journey
The poppies show their many blossoms bold,
vast field of flowers stretching forth from sight.
Such view doth speak creator's awesome might,
a splendid tale in scene that's rightly told.
Thus they appear surrounding mission bold,
a sea of color neath a sky blue bright,
and gentle breeze stirs petals, oh just right!
Gifts given by Elohim we are told.
This mission carries souls to heaven's shore,
a vessel made tranversing lake of woe.
Franciscan Fathers fight with deadly foe,
and Satan's fierce intimidating roar.
The course is fearful, make now no mistake.
Assured of grace, this journey we can make.
