Journey

Road trip, road trip
Was the call
We need to drive
While it is still fall
The trees are blazing red and gold
As we drove north it was really cold
Snow had fallen but did not stay
Glad it was waiting for another day
Rocks and trees and water falls
We found the roads to see it all
We searched and searched and searched some more
Found the spots we were looking for
Memories returned of other days
Glad we had moved on to new and better ways
Our journey done, we're home to rest again, before
The road calls out to us once more.
