Joseph, Moses and Little Bo-Peep

  
               To care for a sheep’s not an executive task
               for such a position few men ask

               It lacks any prestige and pays so little 
               shepherds outearned by subway fiddlers

               Yet Joseph’s brothers all tended sheep
               as did the celebrated Little Bo-Peep

               And God chose Moses to lead the Israelites
               When Moses rescued a lamb low on electrolytes

               Great leaders have made their mark tending sheep
               Their incomes and hours who would want to keep

It means serving, realizing that serving others is a service to selves, all one in the Kingdom(body) of God. It means turn the other cheek...but not to become a battered pinata. Good one, Gershon.
