Jolted by twilight

We had so much fun,
Joining hands and strolling around the lake in the sun,
The blue skies over the majestic mountain peak,
It reminds us that love stands tall in a serene wonderland.
Jolted by twilight, all good things must come to an end,
The sun goes behind the mountaintop,
The geese, ducks, egrets, and seagulls must find a night refuge,
The sky will be grey, turning from blue, with vivid colors in no time.
As for lovers, their daydreams will end,
The lake will close, no visions of watching stars together in sight,
A gentle hug, and a kiss, and a farewell goodbye,
Twilight blues will jolt our hearts.
