It was very enlightening to see how many people responded to a blog about his passing with words of admiration, condolence, and gratitude for Winged Warrior. He touched a lot of lives. Several wrote tribute poems soon after the announcement was made. It was very touching to see a virtual community come together like that to grieve the loss of one of their own. Brother Charlie, Thanks for posting your blog about WW, he really was something special. I totally understand the busy at work lifestyle. I was in that boat most of 2021. I always appreciate your comments and poetry. I still pull your book out every now and then when I need a smile. If we weren't 3000 miles apart I'm sure I'd be buying you a beer at the local pub.
