John Duns Scotus

those who deny that some being is contingent
should be exposed to torments until they concede
that it is possible for them not to be tormented
             "John Duns Scotus"

In reading about this man, I found an intellectual spirit
whereas it is far better to know, than not know
to be subject to change, then not be subject to change
that reason be first when seeking that wisdom is there to find
and not to create
for what is, has already been
whether it's found or not, whether it's understood or not
if you know then you have found reason to know
if you don't know then you have found reason to not know
whether you know it or not doesn't mean it doesn't exist
it means it may be out of reach, yet still exists
                       "Frederic"
