Notes About The Poem

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love (1 Cor 13:13). These three are eternal and endure in the next world.

John 3:16

His love is where we begin
His flesh where we enter in
His death the payment for sin
Rising from death the underpin

Our faith must be put in play
Trust in Him the only way
To save us from judgment day
His Spirit in us to sway

Hope's anchor holding souls fast
His reward in sight at last
Raising faith as the mainmast
Distress and doubts are sailed past

Our love is where we begin
Produced by the Spirit within
Beginning His process again
His plan has always been-

Faith, Hope, and Love

Excellent poem and I agree totally. Like the use of the verse to lead in your poem.

I agree, entirely....without God's Love nothing else will work, it is indeed, where we begin in our walk with Him.Thank you, Randy. Love, Blessings and Faith...
