Joe Manchin, Dino

Call yourself obstructionist
Who blocks a popular bill
A Democrat, I think not,

From West Virginia still.
You, the arbiter of right?
Your constituents starving,

Coal companies pay your dues
Pharmacies in your pocket,
Stock is the name of your game.

Publicity you're craving
Run for the presidency!
Observe just how far you get.

You nailed this one! Voters have forgotten Joe pulled the plug on the USA's clean air mandate claiming he must support WVA coal miners, people for which he should be obtaining funding for retraining in surviving occupations . . . .Aloha!

Absolutely. Not only that, but his latest obstructionism has hurt WVA coal miners. I understand the United Mine Workers of America are very upset with him, and rightfully so! Joe is for their interests as long as they don't conflict with his own!

Great write, Milt:-) I wholeheartedly agree with you about him being a DINO! I have contempt for him, honestly. Him and Sinema are the absolute worst in Washington, at least the "Retrumplicans"--as pathetic as they are--aren't wolves in sheep's clothing to their party! Those two backstabbing jokers are endangering the Biden presidency and the reason I'm very pessimistic about the midterms. Some Democrats they are. To hell with both of them!

I couldn't have expressed it better! Thanks, Edward, for sharing your views.

Sounds like the politicians we have over here, corrupt and just out for themselves. Tom

I'm pretty angry with Joe right now, although I have supported him for many years. I think I'm beginning to see the light about him and his senatorial behavior.

Lovely englyn. I am glad you are outing this guy "on his way to the devil" working selfless for himself, bought by big business who never wants the little guy to get a decent wage.

I am so angry with Joe I could eat nails. He's turned on every one of his constituents in West Virginia, and I'll bet you they'll send him back to Washington the next time he's up for reelection. He has five or six ads on here in the evenings trying to convince WVians he is standing up for their best interests. We know he is not!!!

I, 1005% agree to everything you said. *Munchkin* and the other DINO (you know who I'm talking about), are the most pretentious, shameless, and egregiously corrupt entities in the democratic party. Milt, I usually stay away from commenting re. politics, but at crucial times, I make exceptions. Thanks for bringing this out in the open!...ab

You are quite welcome, Anselmo. I'm not really big on writing political stuff, but I couldn't resist this when I discovered there was a poetry form designed for that purpose. I'm so angry with Joe I could spit nails!
