Jingle of a Single
I may be single,
But I am neither ready to mingle,
Nor sing romantic jingles.
I may be a fool,
But I am neither ready to lose my cool,
Nor dive in the precarious pool.
I may be a nerd,
But I am neither ready to die hard,
Nor get scared.
I may be a stupid,
But I am neither ready to be duped by the Cupid,
Nor for prosperity rush rapid.
I may be a nut,
But I am neither ready to lose my chivalrous gut,
Nor be unscrupulous at heart.
I may be a dumb,
But I am neither ready to be soulfully numb,
Nor to greed and lust, succumb.
I may be unsmart,
But I am neither ready to cause someone any hurt,
Nor from truth stay apart.
I may be monotonous,
But I am neither ready not to be vivacious,
Nor be vicious.
I may be poor,
But I am neither ready to lose my sense of being pure,
Nor show my humanity the door.
I may be ugly,
But I am neither ready to stoop seeing people as lovely,
Nor lose my singlehood and choose not to be happy.
