Jim and Lil Part Two

"Their up to hanky panky, I can see their eyes gleaming!" Say's shaky old Pete, Who's forgotten the meaning; "They were kinder in the war, When I was a prisoner" says Jim; They've gotten together a meeting, And may even censure him. They say their love is wicked, But Lil wonders why? " Why does our friendship, Sin to others imply?" The more they are together; The more fuel to the fire; The place is a twitter, As such censure they inspire. How could their sweet friendship, So many offend; And why do they have to, Their great love defend? " Their jealous " says Lil, " We're not past our prime. Why at eighty nine - Is our love such a crime?"

Did you separate the poems because it was too long to post all together? I hate when I can't post a story here. I have had to divide several things into two parts. I can see this was a continuation of the other one. I enjoyed reading this story, LIzzie.

I've spent lots of time at the home with my father in law in the past four years and I can say that this goes on and there are plenty of tongues waving.
