Jigsaw

Are you my missing piece
Or are you from a different picture
Have I got you upside down
Or do we fit together
Have I cocked up again
Or placed you wrongly all along
I hope you’ll let me keep on trying
To put my little piece where it belongs
Your helping hand is appreciated
All I do is fumble
You’ve a lovely warmth and patience
For when I stumble
I don’t know how long this jigsaw takes
But it’s one that needs completing
For when you’re pieced together
You’re ever so revealing
Gosh! darling, what a picture your forming
