Jesus Birth was Prophesied
The Birth of Jesus was well known
The details long ago were told
The God of Heaven said to men
By Prophets his story is foretold
His name, genealogy and place
Even the gifts they would bring
Every detail was written down
And the angels did even sing
The Lord only did this for His Son
HE wanted us to know His grace
Telling us what Christ would do
For the whole human race
The Mission of Christ was also told
The angels and shepherds did say
Glory to God in the highest
Telling us that Christ is the way!
