Jess and Ness

There was a big serpent called Jess
Who lived on the banks of Loch Ness
At night he played chess
With Ness, though I guess
The game was devoid of finesse.

Glad you found it to your liking, Jack! I used to play chess a lot; my brother was very good and he used to play with grandmasters from overseas by mail. All the best. // paul

:D This gave me quite a giggle, Paul. I love the five-line rhyme employed in this limerick as well as the thought of Nessie playing chess! Always a 7 from me. Love, Carolyn

Thank you Carolyn. Hope you are keeping well. Have just commented on your alphabet poem; surprised at its absence from the final list. In my eyes it's still a winner:) love // paul

Yes, Lindsay, she's the best at hide and seek; only Jess knows her tricks and moves! Thanks for a welcome visit. // paul
