Notes About The Poem

One day, the nations of the earth will be called to Jerusalem to appear before
the King of all creation to Jerusalem, where He will be reigning for a 1000
years., what a sight and time that will be!

Jerusalem

Jerusalem

When Jesus turns the earth from its present darkness to His magnificent Glory
oh, what a day that will be,
His thousand year reign in Jerusalem
the city that was made for this King!

How He wept over this city
and it broke His heart for His day they chose not to accept or see,
but one day He said
“I’m coming back again and this time Your true King I will be”.

Oh, Jerusalem, Jerusalem
get set for your King will be coming again soon, I know,
but not only for you but
many nations will be there and before Him they will bow.

For He is God of all creation and for some reason
He chose Jerusalem to impart,
as a mighty love for it
was so deeply implanted in His wonderful heart.

For your writer has not yet seen
this beautiful and wonderful place yet one day, I know I will find,
myself standing in old Jerusalem
with the joy of the Lord deep within my heart.
