Jelena

I jokingly declared my love to you,
and you took the joke seriously,
to my mischievous game of love
you responded with true love.

You wanted my love unconditionally,
and I thought you were still a child,
now I'm starting to miss you,
the years without you slowly take revenge on me.

I finally realized my mistake,
but you are no longer beside me,
the trace of your love still lives in me,
you must have become a beautiful woman.

I miss you very much, Jelena,
and I suffer endlessly for you,
I would give my own brother,
just so I could have you back.

Opportunities lost. Best to see what’s in front of you so you don’t lose another. Enjoyed.
