Edith Bunker was so well portrayed by this actress that I don’t think anyone can follow or remake that character! Great poem and good luck in the contest!

Jean Stapleton was an amazing actress who created a beloved character. Quite an accomplishment. A wonderful tribute to a character who truly represented many facets of a woman's life. Blessings!

It was a great show! There was love amidst the constant bickering and put downs, there was lessons learned along the way, and Edith found her service with the elder folks and learned to speak her mind. Archie cried hard when he lost her. No family is perfect and we all have things to learn. And yes he was often the meathead…lol
