Here lies what was left of Jason Platt Who fell into a molten iron ore vat One fatal slip was all it took And no one got a final look.

I feel blessed that I did not get "a final look" - can you imagine?

I don't believe there was anything left to look at actually, Caren. Never fall into a molten vat of anything...please!

thanks for the chuckle. I bet there must be a book out there on funny ways to die some where? I write eulogies for family and friends to help with the grieving process for those left behind and try to focus on the positive aspects of that person's life which some times injects humor.

Glad to know you enjoyed this one, Nancy. I write these eulogies of fictional people just for fun. I think I first saw such a long time ago at the Haunted House at Disney World. Since then I've occasionally written one. I call them macabre humor.

You certainly have a knack for writing a hilarious epitaph! Keep smiling, gw

Thanks, gw. The secret is figuring out how they died in a way that rhymes with their name. Like you could get eaten by a wolf, but there wouldn't be anything left to bury! (chuckling)

I don't think he felt any pain, Tom.
