I am glad that your daffodils are blooming as well. I know the ice will hurt the blooms and possibly the green, but the bulbs should survive to bloom another year. Nice to read a personal comment, Sara B. Your visit is uplifting. Sara K

Dear Sara, I liked how the daffodil shows up at the end with a little warmth, like a soft promise after all that gray. It made winter feel a bit more human. We are having a big snowstorm this weekend, 15+ inches. Winter Blessings, Sara Daniel

Daniel, brrrrr!! That is a lot of snow. We don't do well in cold, snow, sleet, freezing rain because we are not prepared for such situations. I don't see how people who live in the cold can make it, but people do. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment. I hope the weather isn't as bad as they are predicting. Sara K

Victor, we are under a winter warning for the weekend, but I am hoping that we don't get anything more than some cold rain. I am having to lean on Jesus to take me through. Sara K

What a perfect poetic picture you conjure up of January, which can be one of the most drab months of the year but you manage to polish it and make it shine with your Daffodils. Lovely write my friend. Hugs, Jennifer.

Jennifer, I actually have one group that are open and others that the buds are up waiting for the right time to shine. When I saw the ones that are open it made my day. The color against the gray and naked trees. Sara K
