Just keep on walking from one room to
Another, yes – we’re in a daze;
Now, we’ve finished last year's chapter
Urging us to smartly turn its page;
Arising, we’re standing to leave its show’s
Rostrum, yes – they’re clearing the stage;
Yes - plot’s digested … we may no longer graze.

Another great write from your very creative and prolific quill, CayCay and perfect entry for the contest. Many thanks for your so true comments re snow and ice removal! I've experienced that too often. However, I'm "retooling" the limerick because I discovered in the 3d line I didn't use the word "snow". The sponsor specified that the same word had to appear in each line of the lim -so I'll be reposting an update. Stay warm! Bob
