James Cameron made it big with Avatar
Again and again he raised the bar
The film was tremendously beautiful
But the plot was unoriginal

But of course who could forget Titanic?
Lenny plus heartbreak equals a classic!
I've seen the ending, but that's not the point
My girl swears that it won't disappoint

Like or smite, have to admit you crave more
Jimmy's is where it's at whether you're
A fan of trees that store mem'ries aglow
Or Leonardo DiCaprio

Laura Breidenthal May 29, 2016 at 8:59 PM Gottah agree with that Avatar bit..I've seen some similar themes in Pocahontas to the movie as well. I do have to admit, though enjoying the movie, I fell asleep halfway through the first time I saw it. Nevertheless, a pretty(emphasis on pretty) entertaining film. My grandpa loves it, but he keeps calling the movie "Atari" and it drives me nuts!!! XD Always, Laura Timothy Hicks June 10, 2016 at 10:45 PM "Atari" ... hahaha. Timothy Hicks March 22, 2013 at 11:50 PM I thought the animation in Avatar was AMAZING... no other movie can really compare to it in it's artwork... however if you really pay attention to it the plot is VERY similar to Dances With Wolves (but in space)... maybe I'm just overly critical about movies, but I like movies where the plot sticks in your head long after you watch it...

I always wonder what he must have been thinking when his ex wife pulled the rug right out from under him, beating out his avatar with her Hurt Locker. (and both were extremely popular yet very different from each other)...
