Jaguar Paw's Triolet

(written after I saw this incredible movie a few years ago)

Apocalypto, we begin
anew. To woodland deep we go,
where waters still flow crystalline.
Apocalypto, we begin!
From death there is new origin,
for Earth cries out and makes it so!
Apocalypto, we begin
anew. To woodland deep we go.

OOOOOOWWWWOOOOOOOO! I can almost feel my essence pushing up the soil in that deep woodland you talk about. "Where waters still crystalline flow." I like this idea...a new Eden. I'm going down the list, dear Andrea. Lots of gold hidden down there. Love, daver

A welcome sense of faith, hope and joy emanates from your words, Andrea. I haven't seen this movie -- yet! But if it inspires such feelings, I must rent it. This triolet goes to my favorites! Love, Carolyn

Hi Andrea, forgot to tell you that the Mandau river is a small river flowing through Zittau and only about 50 meters from my place and flows into the Neisse river which is the border between Germany and Poland... Keep writing...Love, Gert
