Jaded
I'm faded, feeling jaded, wondering what's to come of this life the lord created.
Seems like something always pulls me down when I start to feel like I made it.
Living life blissfully in the sun, but now everything's shaded.
Life dealt me these cards, and it felt right when I played it.
So I threw down my heart, only for you to spade it.
I gave you my love and trust, and you betrayed it.
Like my hearts a toy in a box to be played wit.
Shared with you all my deepest secrets, and you displayed it.
Giving me these feelings of hurt, torment and sadness all braided.
Thought when I gave you this hurting heart you were gonna be the one who saved it.
But now I'm right back where I started, feeling faded.
