All this time I thought you were describing the gemstone as if it were the chrysalis but it was the other way around. Congrats. This was really nice

haha, yes, thanks Andrea! I moved to a place 3 1/2 years ago and gradually discovered that what I had in front was milkweed, which attracts monarch butterflies. Near my front door, one of these things was hanging, and I was fascinated, and didn't know what it was. A friend told me. It had really reminded me of a jade stone an ex (who was Buddhist) on a pendant.

If the last line includes a proper noun, I know Andrea would want you to capitalize it. I like the content of your entry. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Thanks, CayCay - a chrysalis is that little wrapped up thing that houses the being that goes through the magic of turning from caterpillar to butterfly.
