Hi Bill... my Dad and I attended his first professional game with the old Montreal Royals of the International League!!! We were late arriving and as we entered the bleachers in Delormian Stadium he was on third base threatening to steal home! He was my idol back in 1946!!! My FIRST recollection! Cheers Jack
