Jack Outside of the Box

So many people tried
To keep jack in the box
However it couldn't be done

Nothing can stop him
He goes his own way
His goal is to always have fun

A jokester for sure
But he is never mean
He always has a kind word to say

If you stop for a visit
And you are sad
It's impossible to stay that way

Wacky and wonderful
Twinkle in his eye
He hands out smiles and a laugh

Taller then the tallest
When it comes to spirit
In fact he may be a giraffe

Dedicated to my friend Jack Ellison, perhaps he can tell me what style this is.

Whatever style it is, it is fun, my mind was giving me all sorts of different jack in the boxes to visualize, what a treat!

A Jack outside the box is definitely more exciting and fun than one stuffed and kept inside the dark! thanks for sharing Richard and Jack-o

Richard; the poem is good, but I don't know if you are talking about Jack Elison or who. If it is him - I'm glad that he is out of the box. I guess it was him. I like him too. He is one of the good guys here. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

OKAY! This is being filed away in a special place my friend! Can't find the words that would adequately describe our new found friendship... I am humbled by your words! Jack
