Jack London

Do you know Jack London,
You, young poet from Brest,
You, old fisherman,
We need to extract so much ore,
To find a gram of gold,

Whether it is the call of the forest,
Or the people of the abyss,
Your soul will find this,

Do you know Jack London,
You, high school student of Saint Joseph,
You market gardener, you baker,
You, a journalist from Le Monde,
Did you read the call from the forest again?

I don't know him, but I understand that he is a great writer. One thing I agree, we have to mine tons of ore to get a gram of gold. Yaan, is he your favorite?

Great introduction to the author, Jack London. I have to say that I never read any of his works but from reading some quotes from his book, "The Call of the Wild", it seems he was quite a creative writer. I enjoyed reading your work. Way to go. 👏✍️. Sara K.

This is 'vintage Yann Rolland.' Such a distinctive approach to Jack London, the great adventure writer. And, yes, I know Jack London, I the occasional poet. Thanks, Yann!
