J R R Tolkien

The amazing linguist J. R. R. Tolkien -
On creating an immersive Middle Earth he was keen.
Being short, loving good food, and smoking a pipe,
he considered the hobbit to be just his type!

I read the hobbit many years ago. I like the rhyme scheme you chose, and the message has very subtle humor. You piqued my curiosity, and I checked. He was 5' 9"". I've known some short men, and there is definitely something going on in terms of motivation and talent.

The Internet said he was short. Good grief they said he thought of himself as a hobbit. I guess he was the tall king of them. Haha

You know of the famous trilogy Lord of the rings, don't you. This man was so immersed in creating the middle earth world he even made 15 dialects for his characters and he knew 15 modern and ancient languages. He was a genius. I read the entire trilogy in the 70s When I read it I was totally immersed. I remember wondering why it was not made into a movie. About 30 years passed and someone finally made the movie in three parts!

few writers are remembered in such a way that they make movies about their work. This is one.
