Ivory Carriage
Thousands of tiny diamonds glisten against black velvet as the sound of your voice enters
into my ear and settles in my soul.
Your lips are like silk and your embrace as comforting as rays of sun on a child's face.
I know that love is a risk and heart break is a heavy toll.
I've come to the end of love's rainbow and know that those previous pains your kiss will
erase.
Smile and show me your beauty.
Laugh and show me you need me.
Cry tears of pain and tears of happiness.
You've come out of the dark, no more loneliness.
I want you to whisk me away in an ivory carriage.
You're in black and I'm in white.
One day we will be together in a dedication called marriage.
I love you with my all, my heart, my might.
