I'Ve Got More Work To Do

Lord as I sit here reflecting on my life
It's been filled with ups and downs
Happiness and strife
But this past year my faith was rocked
And I didn't know
If I was going to make it
Or if it was my time to go
You know I came very close
To going home with you
But I believe you saved me
Because I still have work to do
Yet I feel so unworthy
I'm haunted by my past
I long for you to touch me
And set me free at last
Lord please heal my body
My spirit and my soul
And remind me that no matter what
You're always in control
Amen

Thank you! One of my true poems during my battle with cancer. Thank God I'm still cancer free!
