I'Ve Been Told

I Was Told " (Verse 1) Before we were born, already ?? labeled Nobody could see, but I knew with God I was able Able to be, be all that I can I was already apart of the plan At times I didn't know, which route to choose I was all messed up, emotionally confused You'll never be this You'll never do that People basing me off opinions No longer facts I made myself a promise A promise that I will hold Never base your life Based off, what you were told Chorus Never loose sight of your dreams You're not losing Only winning (winning) God already knew(knew) From the beginning (beginning) In life you can choose or be chose But don't live it based off what you were told Verse 2 You gotta replay it (replay it) Come on &say it(say it) You can do it ( do it) Don't have to prove it Unless you trying to improve for yourself Damn the feelins of someone else You have to be bold, be in control Of you, know the value of a coin You were priceless before you were born So if someone doesn't say anything nice Know the one up above Payed the price For my life and yours He has so many great things in store Chorus Never loose sight of your dreams You're not losing Only winning (winning) God already knew(knew) From the beginning (beginning) In life you can choose or be chose But don't live it based off what you were told Repeat 1x Bridge:I was told I was incapable of success But I know God saw my best (Repeat 1x) Chorus Never loose sight of your dreams You're not losing Only winning (winning) God already knew(knew) From the beginning (beginning) In life you can choose or be chose But don't live it based off what you were told Repeat until chorus fades Written by:Concetta Hardnett 2/6/18
