It's the Loving Season

IT'S THE LOVING SEASON - John 15:17

Love is humanity,
It comes from the soul.
Perhaps the only thing,
That makes a human whole.

Romance is in the air,
The calendar says it's so.
Time for cards and flowers,
A special place to go.

Forget the months gone by,
Inhumanity to man.
It is time to celebrate,
Let's do the best we can.

Read the cards real slow,
Remember what they said.
After all they know better than you,
What is in your head.

People do it for a living,
To make your life seem swell.
Their words control the meaning,
Do you have something to tell?

There is the tender sympathizing love,
Recall the days gone by.
You reached out with all your heart,
Do you remember why?

The flame of young love,
You both tried so hard.
Hot and fierce your time was spent,
Treated life with disregard.

Would you like to rekindle that flame,
Professional help is here.
Turn to Jesus' words in "John",
Once, again, please dear.
