It's Not Fair

I miss you Mamma 
I miss the days when you were well
And not so tired Mamma

You’d make my sandwiches and laugh
And see me off to school
And life was as it should

It makes me sad to see you cry
And see you in such pain
At night I worry you won’t get better

I didn’t like it when you said
God might be calling on you
To help Him up in heaven

It just wouldn’t be right
When I need you here

It just wouldn’t be fair Mamma
And I’m going to tell Him just that
Tonight in my prayers Mamma
