It's New

Before me lies a land not walked
Yet it’s considered, even talked
It’s new as freshly fallen snow
We all must go there, don’t you know
Adorned with challenges and cares
A world unknown is mine and theirs

The New Year beckons all who live
It’s always there to bless and give
To try to hesitate is vain
We’ve all been boarded on the train
Who can relate with what is there?
When we arrive we will all share

Before me lies a land not walked
The New Year beckons all who live
