It's Just a Walk

I've sat dismayed
distraught
and empty
Then you rise inside me
and I have to look at who I am
Who I am In You
And
Understand
once again
that my beliefs are not based
on circumstances of life
And it cannot matter how close to my
heart I am attacked
I will walk in faith
In your light
In the darkness

Nicely written piece of art laurie. You write with so much passion that I can't help but hear the sadness in the voices in your poetry. enjoyed the honesty displayed in the piece. Wonderful job.

The message in this piece is strong and clear, that the direction by which you walk is already laid out despite the odds. Very well written. Michael
