This reads like smoke wanders up from the hiss of a fire

Open fire places with logs burning and flames leaping is like being in a place of worship, especially at Christmas, Joseph must have lit a fire somehow for Baby Jesus and the crackling of the fire sounds like praying and the silence is the soul feeling the warmth that heats up the hearth as does as it does the heart, Nothing more perfect! Hope your Christmas was happy and full of light and love and wishes for the New Year to you and your family - may All your dreams come to fruition. Hugs Jen.
