It's Hard To Believe With Heaven-Could Come This Much Hell
When I got the news that tragic day
I fell to my knees and to God I prayed
Could you take me in her place
Does she have to go
It's like my rainbow quit shining
Along with my sun
The darkness of night overtook the one
I lived my whole life for
And now it ended today
It's so hard for me to believe
It could all end this way
Was she an angel without wings
It's just too hard to tell
And It's hard to believe with Heaven
Could come this much hell
I started drinking my whiskey
Just a sip at a time
Before her memory set in
I was feeling fine
But these demons still haunt me
And my best friend is time
There's no words to describe this
Lost treasure of mine
She was an angel without wings
That cast me under her spell
And It's hard to believe with Heaven
Could come this much hell
I'm still looking for peace
That I can't seem to find
And quit casting the blame onto
These shoulders of mine
Had it not been for that fight
Would she still be here
How's a man in constant sorrow
Say it more clear
I love you my angel darling
My tears could fill up a well
And it's hard to believe with Heaven
